I am currently finishing up my Bachelor's Degree at California State University, Fullerton while concurrently beginning Masters level courses. I spent 10 years working on my AA at many local community colleges, including Orange Coast College and Fullerton College.
Experience
I love the process and reciprocal nature of learning. I have struggled in school at certain levels, so I enjoy offering hope and skills for success to students in need. I love tutoring because it allows me to tailor information to a specific person or group; the experience becomes very rewarding to help someone grow. I worked as a tutor for the AVID program at Sunny Hills High School for one year. There, I tutored groups of students in a variety of subjects using Cornell notes and higher level questioning to encourage analytic comprehension. I worked for the CSUF Writing Center for one year while working as a dedicated tutor for 2 different English 99 courses. I have worked for Fullerton College since the Spring of 2014. I am a tutor for English Developmental Writing courses through the Entering Scholars Program. I create lesson plans and activities to supplement the regular coursework. I also privately tutor students ranging from first grade through college. Sometimes their parents hire me to specifically to work on a certain course, while others ask me to provide additional curriculum to further challenge their children.

Mon/Wed/Fri at any time, Weekends at any time, Tues/Thurs in the afternoon, Tues/Thurs in the evening

Hobbies
I love to read, watch movies, listen to music and podcasts, hike, play board games, and watch comedy shows. I also love to travel and spend time with close friends and family.
