I am a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, where I became a Staff Sergeant after six years in the service. I entered college because I realized a high school level education cannot lead to success in today's economy. I am currently finishing a degree in Criminal Justice at Brandman University. I worked with mechanics in aircraft maintenance for years, so I know how to relate the academic subjects I tutor my students on to real-world applications. To survive in today's competitive working world, it is important to have great reading and writing skills, as well as verbal comprehension and math skills. That's why I tutor English grammar, mechanics, reading comprehension, and writing for all grade levels. I also work with students on middle school and high school math, social studies, handwriting, phonics, American history, science, geography, industrial engineering, and test preparation. Study skills are very important to learn, as these skills will help students all throughout their lives. When I'm not working hard as a student and a tutor, I love gardening, listening to music, watching sports like baseball and hockey, and spending time with animals, especially dogs. I also love Disneyland and all things Disney!
