Clarinet experience: 12 years, qualified for Contra Costa County's Honor Band, passed level 8 of Certificate of Merit, performed at Acalanes High School's musical Cinderella, played principal clarinet in the Diablo Wind Symphony, played with the Orange County Youth Symphony Orchestra in their UK debut and at the Walt Disney Concert Hall, recorded with Muncity Entertainment, currently studying clarinet performance at Chapman University Music Theory: Passed all 10 levels of Contra Costa County's MTAC Certificate of Merit written exams, completed all 4 semesters of Music Theory at Chapman University Chinese: fluent in Cantonese, took 1 year of Mandarin Chinese at Chapman, however, I am currently a teacher's assistant at Chapman University for the Chinese language teacher. Tutoring Experience: Yes; 5th grader for basic science, reading comprehension, writing, music theory I want to be a tutor because I honestly like helping students succeed in their classes. It is always very rewarding when students find themselves able to complete their studies in a subject that they originally were not so great to being with.
