Tutoring experience in the elementary grades - mainly in math, literature/reading, and language arts, but can help in most subject areas. Tutoring will help me in preparing to be a student teacher in Fall 2015 and provide me with further experience with helping students with their academic learning. I have taken all required classes for elementary education such as: -Mathematics -Science: Earth, Life, and Physical -Language Arts: Phonics, Grammar, Writing etc. -Literature: Reading/Literacy, Reading Comprehension, etc. -History: U.S. History and California History, and some Geography -Visual Arts, Music History, and Theater Other impressive items: -Organized and punctual -Creative and Open-minded -Experience working with students with mild learning disabilities and other special needs on the mild spectrum. -Compassionate -Infant, Child, and Adult CPR/First Aid trained since April 30, 2014 (Valid through March 2016) -Experience working with students of the preschool through elementary age in babysitting/childcare, tutoring, assistant teaching, and through summer camp counseling.

Hobbies
I love the outdoors and enjoy hiking, camping, fishing, kayaking, and so forth. I am very crafty and hand-sew hair bows as a side job for boutiques. I also love anything else craft and painting related. I have a love for learning and also with helping students' to achieve their academical, social, emotional, and physical goals to the best of their abilities.
